Maddow's guest, political analyst Eugene Robinson, offered the idea of locking the smartest Democratic minds in a small room to force them to come up with a strategy to fight this new kind of political intimidation.
Earlier, Keith Olbermann attempted to undermine the credibility of those speaking out against the government takeover of health care by repeatedly referring to them as fake and implying they were in the pay of insurance companies.
