Quite the exemplar. (And offering such a text-book example for young black males in how to interact with the cops.)
Never mind that Gates was returning from China to a town with a black mayor (Cambridge), in a state with a black governor (Massachusetts), in a country with a black president (United States). The liberal media was all too happy to see its belief affirmed that America remains a racist nation with a white racist police force at the pointy end of the spear.
