Easy as one two three

I just made two phone calls in rapid succession. Both calls were answered on the first or second ring, by a live person. My long-time private physician will see me tomorrow at 2:30, and my long-time optometrist will see me tomorrow at 4:30.

But for the good of the many I am to surrender the simplicity of the current system and be forced to thrash through the bureaucratic health care jungles wielding a machete, for the notion that all of us, workers and non-workers, whether here legally or illegally, receive the same slow and rationed care, in a system where the doctor is just another government worker?
