Here is another cookie-cutter opinion piece from another liberal hack (and music critic) named Steve Appleford, who hasn't the balls to put his name to his weekly free dose of sniffy tripe, and here fails to mention that the US attorneys can legally be fired for political reasons--or for practically anything under the sun--do to the fact they serve at the pleasure of the president.
Liar, Liar
e’ve all learned some important lessons during the Bush years. Yes, there have been many astonishing examples of the damage done by the usual corruption and incompetence, but the most disturbing revelations are perhaps those emerging in an ongoing series of congressional hearings with Attorney General Alberto R. Gonzales. And Americans can only watch in horror as the nation’s chief law enforcement officer lies again and again under oath.
